I love meeting new people and I love the idea that no two people are the same. Most of all, I love the challenge of trying to capture something of a person’s inner character. Every person has their own look, their own spirit, their own history and the own unique stories to share. The human condition and its struggle, joy, richness and diversity is what drives my photographic portraits.
With people, I always use the camera handheld, and my goal is to capture the decisive instant when all elements in the scene suddenly come together. The people gallery shows a collection of my best travel portraits. Most of them have been shot in Asia and Africa, where I found people incredibly photogenic and very willing to be photographed.
