Welcome to my blog. Here I will post photographs of my travels, news about my current projects, post-processing articles, photography workshops and photography tips. I hope this blog gives me the opportunity to share my photography and travel passions and what I have learnt in this journey in the last 20 years.

Last Tue night I was awarded the AIPP NSW Travel Photographer of the Year, AIPP NSW Science, Wildlife and Wildplaces Photographer of the year along with the Epson Signature Worthy Award.

Of course, I am still over the moon! Congratulations to my mate Adam Williams for taking the landscape category and the overall prize. What a night!

There are a lot of people I need to thank that helped me achieve these awards including my family and friends who have always supported my photography.

Also, The Light Collective guys - Adam WilliamsPaul HoelenLuke Austin and Ricardo Da Cunha. You are some of the most creative guys I know and inspire and push my boundaries to grow as a photographer and as an individual. Looking forward to travel and shoot again with you soon.

As always, a huge thank you to Peter Eastway and the ND5 guys for being a source of inspiration all these years and for your support and mentoring along the way..

Paul Jarvis of ProLab Perth for printing and matting my 12 images in a rush (as always). Your printing mastery and paper knowledge is unsurpassed. I hadn't seen the prints until today and they just beautiful.

Everyone at AIPP, judges, Anni Payne, volunteers, you guys do a brilliant job arranging the awards and events throughout the year. As I said last week, the AIPP awards system has been a one of the most important influences to improve in photography and be who I am today..

Lastly congrats to everyone that entered, not only finalists and award winners but every single person that had the courage to put your heart on the line.

I leave you with the 12 images I entered, I hope you like them.
