The most special image of my career. The reason is that since I came to Australia and saw Ken Duncan’s beautiful images of Karijini in some of his books, I had always dreamt to go there. It wasn’t until April 2012 when I had the chance. This image has received lots of awards and prizes and it certainly changed my life. After this trip, I published my first book, exhibited my work and I decided to go full-time into professional photography. This image was finalist and editor’s choice at the National Geographic Travel Contest and finalist at the ANZANG Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the year. It was also a finalist in the Head On Landscape prize, Travel Photographer of the year, Eyes on Asia and IPA, Veolia Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Second Place at the International Loupe Awards, all in 2013.
