Jaguar, Pantanal, Brazil
$500 – $5,000
The Pantanal region in Brazil is known for its spectacular wildlife sightings. He headed to the wetlands for a chance to see and photograph the elusive Jaguar. Since 2000, the region has been a UNESCO World Heritage site and it is not hard to see why. The standout feature of the region is its astonishing biodiversity both on land and in the water. We witnessed this beautiful Jaguar during our second day in the area. In Brazil, they call them “Onça-pintadas” and she posed for us for a very long time, until she got hot and went deep into the bush to find some shelter. I was leading a tour to Brazil with my friend Ken Duncan and we were photographing it from a speed boat. It was an incredible experience as they are beautiful cats, with lengths of about 2.7 m, and average weights of 94.8 kg.
This fine art print is available in a limited edition of 100 prints (20 exclusive prints per size).
